Configure the webcam in Windows 10. Many older webcams work without problems in Windows 10, but they don't come with a tool for configuration anymore. For example the popular webcam LifeCam Cinema from Microsoft. In the settings you can adjust brightness, autofocus, contrast and other settings. In the live preview, you can check the changes immediately. Multiple webcams are supported, automatically detected and can be choosen for configuration.

Open the Settings app by pressing the Windows + I shortcut key, or clicking the Settings icon from the Start Menu in Windows 10. From the Settings window, click Privacy. Choose Camera in the left pane. You’ll see an option that says “ Let apps use my camera “. There is a webcam settings dialog in Windows which can be accessed inside Skype and some other apps, but I want to be able to open it directly. How can I open it directly?
